Teacher Magazine: Fla. Teachers Press for Changes

Danielle A. over at tie4teachers talked about this the other day. One of her friends was lucky enough to be invited for this chat. Here’s hoping he ‘gets’ what the teachers are talking about. What I wouldn’t do to get invited to one of these sit downs.

I must say that one of the best things I’ve seen is the suggestion to Gov. Crist about changing the testing from Feb/Mar to the beginning of the year. My how that would change the atmosphere of the test in and of itself. I think as she put it…teachers would then be able to utilize the results for that year, and plan/teach accordingly.
